Colleen is an excellent guide; she explained the history of Hyannis throughout the tour and led us to several excellent restaurants and stores where we could sample a wide variety of foods. I was particularly impressed by the Brazilian Steak House, where the meat is brought to your table and carved right in front of you! We also visited perennial favorites such as the Kandy Korner and also had authentic thin-crust Italian pizza. I would recommend this tour to anyone!
– Alan A. | TripadvisorMy family has been visiting Chatham for 50+ years and we never really explored Hyannis. My sister suggested this tour and it was an excellent introduction to the city. The food was amazing and the tour guide seemed like she personally knew the owners and knew a lot of history about the restaurants and local sights. Personal favorites were the corn and the Anejo (we came back for the margaritas!) and the Brazilian Grill. The Kayak Cookies were so great as well! Excellent— would highly recommend.
– Elizabeth M. | TripadvisorI was on vacation with my wife on cape cod. We are both foodies so we figured we would take a food tour so we found this one in Hyannis. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We started at the Brazilian grill. We were absolutely blown away by the quality and the taste of the food. We didn’t want to leave but we still had many places to go to. A couple notable stops on the tour were kayak cookies and pizzeria barboni. This food tour is a definite must do if you like to eat and are in Hyannis.
– Bruce W. | TripadvisorMy mom and I took this tour on the last day of the season. Colleen was our guide and she was fabulous! So personable and knowledgeable about the town, history and stories behind all the places we visited - including the restaurant operators. It was a perfect local feel. What a great mix of food! I persevered and finished it all. Wonderful end to the tour to sit in the adirondack chairs eating award-winning clam chowder and overlooking Hyannis harbor. Thanks for such a great afternoon Colleen! Highly recommend!
