Train to Christmas Town (Buzzards Bay)

Cape Train recreates the story from the book The Train to Christmas Town and is a must-do for anyone on Cape Cod with young kids! Dress up in your most festive Christmas apparel and get ready the young ones ready to meet Santa and his elves.

Gardens Aglow, Heritage Museums & Gardens (Sandwich)

Visit Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich Friday-Sunday this month for Gardens Aglow, when their beautiful grounds are sparkling with Christmas lights. Carolers will be strolling around, filling the air with classic holiday music and a food truck will be on hand to warm you up with hot apple cider and donuts. When you’re done exploring outside, swing by their gift shop to finish the last of your holiday shopping!

First Light (Provincetown)

Journey to the tip of Cape Cod December 28-January 2 and check out First Light in Provincetown. The town is hosting a variety of events, like ice skating, the Polar Bear Plunge, and fireworks. And with so many fun and delicious bars and restaurants, it’s sure to be a good time!

First Night (Chatham)

One of the best places to go for New Year’s Eve on Cape Cod is Chatham. Since 1990, the quaint seaside town has been hosting First Night, a day and evening filled with art, performances, and entertainment. The night ends with a spectacular fireworks show over Oyster Pond. Whether you have kids in tow or you’re looking for a romantic night out, it’s the perfect place to ring in the New Year.
